About

Skeptical by design.
Rigorous by choice.

Skepsix starts from a simple premise: AI is the most powerful tool that exists, and almost nobody covers it honestly.

We’re not here to sell you hype. We’re not here to tell you AI will fix everything or destroy the world. We’re here to look at what’s actually happening — in the labs, in the products, in corporate and policy decisions — and tell you straight, no filters.

The name comes from “skeptical” and “six” — six senses, the sixth being the critical one. The one that fires when a demo looks too good, when a benchmark doesn’t add up, when a company announces a revolution and the numbers underneath don’t hold.

Skepsix is written by people who use AI every day, heads deep in models, papers, and technical forums. Not journalists covering the sector from the outside. People who live it.

Meet SKEP

Our mascot is a cyborg hacker who has seen enough to be tired, enough to stay curious, and enough to trust no one without verifying first. Half human, half machine — like the technology he covers. He’s not impressed. But he’s always watching.

Skeptical by design.
Rigorous by choice.
AI coverage that doesn’t flinch.
